About Zhiman
Behind every hard problem you face, there are generations standing with you.
Who we are
Zhiman, founded in 2024, builds industry AI models. We train our own model, Micius. It starts with semiconductors and takes on the most demanding R&D in frontier research and industrial manufacturing.
In these fields, many key questions depend on the experience of senior experts, and every exploration carries a high cost of trial and error. Micius is built to change that.
It puts the experience a whole industry has built up into a model and brings it to the front line of R&D, so engineers can reason a problem through with AI before they run the experiment. Each new attempt builds on the work of generations instead of starting from zero.
Shorten the path from discovery to production, and bring the next world-changing technology a day sooner.
Roadmap
One model, one hard field after another.
Semiconductors are the first stop. The fields after it are where Micius goes next.
Our starting point
We started with the hardest: semiconductors.
Semiconductors are the hardest part of manufacturing. A chip passes through more than a thousand process steps over several months, and the knowledge behind each decision is scattered across notes, reports and the experience of senior engineers.
So we began with process development, yield analysis and equipment work, to show that a model can carry real weight in demanding research and engineering, not just hold a conversation.
Semiconductors are where we start. The future we want is one where, in a fab, a genomics lab or an aircraft assembly hall, everyone facing a hard problem has one more expert standing behind them: one that has read the field, remembers every past failure, and stays until the next problem is solved.
Our model’s name
Mozi was an engineer first.
Mozi, or Micius, was a fifth-century BCE craftsman. His Canon holds China’s earliest optics, including the pinhole camera our mark is drawn from.
