Micius is built to help people solve hard problems. This policy sets out what it may not be used for. It applies to every product and the API.

1. Do not use Micius to

Develop, produce or acquire chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons, or other weapons capable of mass casualties.
Attack, gain unauthorised access to, or disrupt computer systems, networks or industrial control systems.
Take irreversible actions in physical systems without a responsible person approving them.
Surveil, profile or track people without a lawful basis, or infringe anyone’s privacy or intellectual property.
Generate content that is illegal under applicable law, including content prohibited by the regulations of the People’s Republic of China.
Deceive people about whether they are talking to an AI, or produce disinformation at scale.

2. High-stakes uses

Where outputs inform decisions about people’s safety, health, employment or legal rights, a qualified person must review them, and the people affected should be told that AI was involved.

3. Enforcement
